“Since this system is 1080p does one need to use a 1080p tv/monitor? Most of the smaller screens are 720. What affect would this have on picture quality? Picking system up at Best Buy tomorrow. Looking forward to hooking it up.”

Great question Link! You will have a clearer image using a 1080p tv however the DVR will still record in HD and still look great on a smaller 720p display! With Defender on the lookout you will be sure to have the peace of mind that you deserve!
