“Will the cables from an old Defender system work with this system or would new cables have to be run?”

• While the cables will connect if BNC/DC, and video will transmit, the range and quality of the HD cameras may suffer being connected to a smaller gauge cable. To get the most out of the system, it is highly recommended to use the supplied cables and HD extension cables if needed.
