“Are these compatible with a Defender SN-501-16CH-X DVR?”

Thank you for your question Jo. These cameras can be connected to the SN501 DVR using the included BNC/Video cable. Please know however, if you have existing 4 PIN camera cables installed, the cameras will not connect to the cable and the BNC/Power cable will need to be used.
