I use a 128 gb I am using two cameras I record from 7 pm to 7 am at 7 am I remove the sd card and down load it to the computer the card gets erased and i replace it back in to the recorder and ready to go good unit for the price

Recording time will vary depending on if it is continuous or motion recording. With a larger SD car you are probably going to get a few days worth of recording. You can definitely remove the SD card and view it on your PC or MAC. As long as the system is set to automatic overwrite it will record over the oldest footage first once the SD card is full.
