“Does the monitor stay on or does it go dark. I need to see not only receive an alert sound what is happening. My returned systems monitor stayed dark - the alarm would go off and I could not tell where the intrusion was coming from.”

Hello J, thanks for the question about the PhoenixM2. This system stays on as long as it is powered. The 7" display will always be visible so you can see any motion on up to 4 paired cameras. Defender Support

Please try again later.The screen stays on streaming a live video from the camera views there are different settings that you can control like alarm with motion, how loud you want the alarm, record with motion, record on a schedule, dual screen showing both camera views, one camera at a time switches from camera 1 & 2.
