Q: QuestionI have Defintive 960 running a Dennon receiverAVT3500h I think I need more power sometimes I have to tun up my volume to 68 to 70 to watch a rented movie should I buy a higher wattage per channel!

• A:Answer Hello, The number on the dial isn't too critical, so long as it goes as loud as you want it to. You can always add a power amplifier, as the AVR-X3500H is equipped for such an upgrade. The Marantz MM7025 or MM7055 would compliment your system nicely.

Q: QuestionWhat would be the right receiver for a pair of 9080x towers and a center channel?

• A:Answer Pick any receiver that supports Dolby Atmos, these 9080x speakers have height speakers that kick-in only with Atmos output. I have a Yamaha RX-A1080 that works well with these speakers. Although, I would not recommend the Yamaha RX-1080 as I have not been able to get the 4K HDR to work on this receiver with my Apple 4K (the settings don't work). Many medium priced receivers from Onkyo, Denon and Pioneer support Atmos.

• A:Answer Hello, the CS9080 center channel and BP9020 tower speakers will make for a great pair as the center channel is possibly the most important speaker in a surround sound system. It is recommended to go big on the center channel if space allows.

• A:Answer Yes you can. It is preferred to use the BP-9020 speakers as full range front LT and RT with the addition of a dedicated subwoofer. Using a Denon receiver, go into speaker settings, set fronts to large and Bass LFE to both. This will send bass signals to both the Front LT and RT and the subwoofer.

• A:Answer I've been using Yamaha receivers for years, I don't know about Denon but Yamaha includes a lot of presets that can be used, like a built-in EQ with mulit-presets. This does come handy when listening to different beats, melodies and music. And I found using banana plugs are helpful, quick connection/disconnection and no wire interference.

Q: QuestionIs the popping of the subwoofer when it wakes and sleeps a common problem? Most reviews that I can find are positive, but when you hit the 3-stars or less, most people complain about how the popping is a problem right away, or becomes one later on.

• A:Answer So I bought these and when turning on, mine make this noise as well. However it has not been a problem yet when playing audio through them. I think it is just them waking up. Also maybe it has to do with the volume when turning it on, try having the volume lower.
