• They don't come with mounting brackets. No they don't need to be Definitive brand. I would just make sure that whatever brackets you end up using can hold some weight, these can get heavy.

• My Definitive speakers did not come with mounting brackets. I am sure Best Buy has mounting brackets that would fit these speakers. We have ours on end tables so works for us.

• no but they do have a T slot and 1/4-20 tapped hole. I used the DT mounts at about $50/pair
