Depending on the size of the gym. They're good for a room no larger than 20 x 20.

i don't recommend it. you should seek speakers specifically designed for professional use. although usually more costly, with the right equipment designed for professional usage, you will find such a set-up better suited for your needs. and can be used for more events to offset your costs. mcdog

Yes. For compact small speakers they can be used as small book shelf speakers with plenty of sound. It is more important to ensue you have a receiver with plenty of wattage.

They have a good output for a smaller speaker. For a full size gym I would probably suggest something larger.
