You can, but the sound bar has to be capable and made by Definitive. If you have a Sound bar from a different third party, they won't be compatible. Make sure your sound bar can make it work. Also make sure your internet is stable enough to support it. I wouldn't recommend it for people with average to weak wifi connectivity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my experience the answer is probably NO. You can listen to music (blue tooth) or anything off the network. My TV sound bar itself does not transmit to the W7 all though it is compatible with Polk Omni system. My sound bar is hooked up to my TV with a fiber optic cable and it does not have additional outputs to hook to. I think maybe my W7 is to far away form the sound bar to work that way. I would suggest to stay with one brand and buy as a complete set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the W7 as surrounds with Definitive Tech's W Studio soundbar and possibly with other Play Fi compatible soundbars.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can’t add W 7s to the W series sound bar but can add to the micro sound bar from DT. W series sound bar is a 5.1 with a subwoofer and can’t be added to.
