A:AnswerThis isn’t really the type of computer or laptop to play games on unless you’re just looking at Android games which I believe will play on this other than that I would really recommend this for someone that needs a laptop for school work and some light internet browsing which is what my girlfriend has been using it for since I got it for her. Hope this helped.
A:AnswerChromebooks use the open source (free to use by anyone for any legal purpose) operating system "Chrome," developed by Google, and based on the open source Linux kernel, which in turn is based on Unix. Any and all operating systems that have the word "Windows" in the title were developed by Microsoft, an entirely different company, and are proprietary (cost money, and only usable under specific license) to that company. While there are ways to use all three systems on the same machine, they are not inherently compatible. Think iPhones vs. everyone else.
A:AnswerI bought this for my sixth grade 11 year old -- soon to be 12 year old -- grandson as his first computer BECAUSE CHROMEBOOKS are used through high school here in Connecticut.
However, I have not used it myself and his mother supervises his use; so I can't answer your questions clearly.
On the other hand, it's important to start early and learn to handle a keyboard. The good folks at BEST BUY may know more.
