“I did connect HDMI cable from monitor to PC (HDMI - monitor to HDMI PC) for monitor model S2422HZ, but the Webscan and microphone do not work. What I want is to connect the monitor to my PC not connect to the laptop, please let me know what am missing?”

I have my monitor connected to my laptop using USB-C and had a similar problem. I had to go into the settings of windows and tell it which microphone and microphone to use. Try looking at the settings for them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Connect the provided usb-c cable. Or get a usb-c to type-a adapter if needed for your connection. HDMI alone is only good for display and sound, not camera or microphone.
