• I have used this monitor for quite a few months now and there has never been a problem with heat. Cool to the touch. Hope that helps.

• I don't know of any "hotness" about the monitor. It is true that some monitors get "warm" after being on for a while, but this one does not do that. As for what I've seen in action, it does good work. A++

• I have had this monitor for a couple of years and I can safely say that using it for hours will not result in it getting hot
