This is great for basic use. Microsoft Office, Web Browsing, etc. This unit will work just fine with intel graphics/amd integrated graphics. Keep in mind, like $200 of this unit's MSRP is dedicated to the GSYNC licensing and marketing. If you dont need a gaming monitor, you can find a far better unit than this one for a daily driver and spend less. Swap the GSYNC feature for a monitor that supports 1 billion colors. I would still look at Dell though as their quality control is better than other manufacturers. ALSO, NVIDIA 10 series graphics cards now support FREE SYNC. This monitor is especially good as a daily driver because it uses a TN display. This type of LED-LCD panel is known for having 0 or minimum risk of burn in/image retention. This simply means you can leave static images up on the display for long periods of time without damaging it. If you've ever had an image burn into your fancy IPS, OLED, or PLASMA display, you know how frustrating it can be. This monitor is not a good choice at all if you have color sensitive work loads because it has poor contrast ratio, weak color accuracy/support, and narrow viewing angles
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You bet!! I bought 2 of these monitors for my granddaughter and she uses 1 for gaming and one to connect to the web for chat, Skype, surfing, etc. She absolutely loves the setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely. Exceptceptional for gaming and general use. Professional photo editing is where I would consider making a more suitable choice. -cheers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes as long as the basic PC has an HDMI output. You would need to connect the gaming PC with a display port (assuming the gaming PC has a DP output) and the basic PC with an HDMI cable. You can then easily switch inputs using the button on the front panel of the monitor. You might want to consider a KVM switching device as well so you can use one keyboard and one mouse to control both PC's. Just don't use the KVM for the monitor ("M"). Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work just fine with what you specified.
