IIRC the R is simply to differentiate between those sold thru retailers with brick and mortar front ends as opposed to online exclusive retailers. There should be no difference. Anecdote confirms as Windows recognized this monitor as a S2716DG despite the additional R on the box. I would guess that the addition of the R also allows BestBuy to subvert pricematching with online retailers as the R is still technically a different model and therefore not subject to being pricematched with a model without an R. But this is just a guess
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.None. Generally companies will have different packaging for retail models vs online store models (like a color box with fact tags rather than a bland cardboard). This difference gets a new model number, which is usually the same with an R at the end.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The S2716DGR is just the retail packaging for the S2716DG.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.R stands for retail version. No difference
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.DG model is for the online retailers like Newegg etc, and DGR model is for the stores retailers like bestbuy etc. Both models are the same monitors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nothing it's the same monitor. I'm guessing the R stands for retail.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.retail vs non-retail. Same item.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The R stands for retail packaging. otherwise both are identical.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nothing - same monitor
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.S2716DGR has a lighter AG coating and the stand color is darker. S2716DG's that were manufactured recently may also have these changes. Either way power save mode on this line is broken and really a nuisance.
