Do open box units have a full warranty through Dell? null

The Dell warranty start the day that theDell is powered and pings the Dell servers. Technically, the first owner is supposed to fill out a warranty transfer form. I'm guessing that you can ask Dell and they'll let that slide if you explainthat it is an open box. you can check the warranty status at dell dot com's support site. enter the serial number of your computer
