No, an SLI setup uses 2 discrete GPUs. what the laptop is doing is just using the 1060 when needed. Otherwise, it uses the CPU's built in graphics for light tasks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is the iGPU built into the CPU which handles basic tasks such as displaying this web browser or basic applications. The 1060 only kicks in when more performance is needed, such as gaming or streaming a high resolution video. The 1060 uses more power so the iGPU is preferred when on battery power. There is no SLI because there is only one 1060 in the laptop, and there is no way to SLI another card (or a good reason to).
