“This will be for my wife. She is s graphic designer, this unit seems to have everything she needs. I’m a little worried about the dimness of the screen and the actual color of her designs. Any thoughts?”

• I think the dimness of the display is a bit overstated. Unless you’re using the laptop in direct sunlight it has always seemed plenty bright to me. I’ve used it in airports, on my patio, etc.

• The screen is good but not great. My old HP had a brighter screen. I know a lot better options are out there for the screen but the specs and performance is excellent.
