“Does the type-c port support thunderbolt? Also how are the fan noises and thermals of this device?”

The palmrest shows thunderbolt 3, and next to the port it has the logo. The fan noise is insanely loud when you play games. I've always play games with my headset, but I am sure my roommates will complain. Super hot at the hinge area, just below the Dell near the KB deck. borderline scorching hot. Than again, you have a GTX 1060. Left side of the KB doesn't get hot.

Yes it a TB3 port, if going buy last gens version of this laptop with same specs besides CPU it should run relatively cool and quite. No one knows for sure how the cooling system holds up with the new i7-8750H but I’m thinking it’s still a 45W CPU but with 6 cores so it’ll probably run a bit warmer but offer massive improvements in CPU power.
