• I just installed a Adata 1 tb SX8200 Pro in my G7. Read speeds aren't as fast as the drive is rated for (I also have one in my Ryzen 2700x new build and it gets 3450/2850. ) G7 Reads are about 2750, Write at 2700. Not bad....

• yes, yes, and yes...…. the m.2 supports both pci-e and sata. and the thunderbolt port uses 4 lanes

• It should support PCIe NVMe. Recommend that you upgrade the SSD, as the stock SSD is SATA, and is slower than some of the $799 gaming notebooks that BBY sells.

• It comes with Micron 1100 which is only 6GBs, I believe. Check specs on Dell website and look up the model for more specifics.
