Please try again later.Yes you can switch between graphic cards through the intel software, you can also easily turn on or off the turbo boost over clocking through the bios by hitting f2 during startup and then choosing performance and scrolling down for turbo boost. Just now if u turn this on the laptop will run approx 25degrees hotter

Please try again later.Owner response - you can switch between discrete and hybrid graphics in the NVIDA controller app. You can either choose between global selection or per program. If the program is not listed and it is installed on the laptop, you just have to add it to the list. I did not see the option in the BIOS on my unit.
