“Is this a 8 x 2 GB memory configuration or just 16 x 1 GB ?”

• It appears there is a lot of different answers to this questions and I wanted to clear it up for myself and share what I found. I went to Dell's website and download the user's manual for this model and looked up the information with regards to memory. The information is coming from pages 14 and 15 and is as follows. MEMORY SLOTS: two SODIMM slots MEMORY TYPE: dual-channel DDR4 MEMORY SPEED: 3200 MHz MAXIMUM MEMORY: 32GB ( A minimum of 4GB) MEMORY SIZE PER SLOT: 4GB/8GB/16GB Lastly, this model for sale at Best Buy is configured with a single stick of 16 GB DDR4 3200MHz. I included a screen shot of the same information.

• 1 16gb Dimm, so single channel memory.
