- Answer You can expand the ram to 16gb by adding another 8gb DIm. Battery is a standard 3 cell battery. But with the 10th Gen i5s low power consumption it will last you a solid 8 hours, maybe 10. The panel is a rather cheap 6-bit VA panel with much to be desired if you like good displays. I would say most people with think it's fine.

- Answer The BIOS contains the Windows 10 Home S key. You have to still have to "Activate" the license, but it just goes to the BIOS and gets the key. It does not display that key, and it's an OEM license meaning it cannot be transferred to another computer. Windows 10 Home S means that you will be restricted from using any programs which are not provided by the Microsoft Store. This is a "feature" that Microsoft has installed to improve the security of their systems (according to Microsoft). This means that, if an application is not available on the Microsoft Store, you cannot use it. You can disable this feature for free, and convert your Windows 10 Home S license to a Windows 10 Home license (free for now). Then you will be able to download and install software, but they are clear that you accept the security risk of such. If you are not tech savvy to do this, you can have Best Buy do it for a fee.

- Answer Our's outs handled by a 19, 16, 14, 12, 10, and 8 year old for homework and assignments; it's held up great without any problems. I too was concerned about that to the point that I didn't want them to unhinge it but they have anyway. It's held up without any problems nor complications.

- Answer Hello! All models in our 7000 series have fingerprint ID. It's built into the power button, so it's up to your discretion to use it or not. If you are looking for a device without, you will likely have to look at our 3000 series, but you will be sacrificing a lot of our key premium features.
