The SSD storage has faster data access speed than the HDD. Hence, it is recommended to have the operating system and the software installed in SSD for a quick booting. You could store the data and files in HDD, thus having a optimized distribution among the storage devices. Yet, a periodic of data back up is recommended to avoid any data loss due to technical defects.
