A:AnswerThis is for the Dell representative:
Thank you for your prior answer, but I a more precise explanation.
I said "TO ADD" a hard drive, not to switch or to get informed about the capabilities or this laptop.
When you say that it "supports" a hard drive up to 2TB, what are you exactly saying? Does the laptop has already the mounting bracket and the proper ventilation's capabilities, or the answer is more like: "theoretically could host another hard drive, but there is nothing ready for it on this computer"?
Have a marvelous day!
A:AnswerIt has a fan that only kicks in over 60C degrees or 140F. The fan starts (extremely loud) and as soon as it goes down the temperature for a few degrees, it will turn off.
I just bought this laptop, and my prediction is that it would be fried before the 30 days mark.
Sad.
A:AnswerI would think you are asking about the software running properly on this computer, because for learning technical drawing you don't even need a computer.
So, if your question is about running AUTOCAD or REVIT on this computer, be aware of the need of another external or internal hard drive, and try also to add extra 8GB of RAM, to run the software smoothly.
This means that you need at least an extra $200, to make it technical drawing friendly.
You are welcome.
