• A:Answer This series comes pre-configured with up to 8GB (I presume this is the maximum). There are 2 SO-DIMM slots on the motherboard and the RAM is user replaceable. Actually performing the work is another story. You have to take out the battery, optical drive, keyboard, back panel, etc. You pretty much have to do everything but remove the motherboard in order to replace the HDD or the RAM. Buyer beware.
