• That depends on the program and how old it is. You also may be able to run them in Compatibility Mode if they won't run in Windows 10.

• A geek squad member installed an old version of Corel Office for me. Everything seemed okay but I discovered that some of the "higher functionality" was gone. And this hasn't been corrected since. I don't know if this is due to the application's reaction to the new OS, or a fault in the installation itself.
