- Answer I finally found more detailed specs & build info, @ Dell support site. Using the device Service Tag, or Express Service Code (from an in store display unit). http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/servicetag/HDMDQF2/ Dell Service Tag - HDMDQF2. Express Service Code - 37828952318. This is the same model. Battery Dell 40Wh (14.8Vdc/2750mAHr). Externally removable (quick release). (Tip to find info about Dell computers is to not include the 1st letter(s) in the model number/ID. Could not find on Dell site until I left out initial letter; Dell support specs dues not include the 1st letter either. Example, this is Dell Inspiron I5566-3000BLK-PUS. Don't include the I in I5566, just search by 5566. In this case, I think I in I5566 is abbreviation for series name, Inspiron. -- Also, for Dell, search by Service Tag, or Express Service Code may work, if normal model, or UPC/EAN/GTIN code search does not find.)

- Answer Yes, Wi-Fi 802.11n. (Previous generation standard. Not the recent ac standard.) (Not sure if dual band or which bands 2.5, or 5GHz; not sure if supports previous Wi-Fi standards g, a, or b. Not sure about # of antennas (likely 1); or if MIMO support.) Also, wired network port is Ethernet 10/100Mbps. (No 1000Mbps/1Gbps.)

- Answer The battery is removable and replaceable if you remove the bottom faceplate. On average, when browsing the Internet, Dell told me that you can push out 13 hours on the lowest power settings when browsing the Internet and about 6 when gaming. The keyboard is backlit with a pleasant red, not overpowering your eyes at night and allowing you to leave it on during the day without making things too difficult to use. It also has three different brightness options: off, low, and high, and is controlled by using the F10 key, or by holding Function (Fn) and tapping F10. You can disable the need for the Function key for the multimedia functions if you like by holding Function and hitting Escape.

- Answer Warranty is given by Dell (manufacturer). Best Buy is authorized for warranty repair. So you have both options, go to Best Buy or Dell. 1 may take less time. (If Best Buy can't repair at local location, they send to regional central repair center. Last time I had repair for laptop (HP), this was in Kentucky, USA (store in California).) (Some manufacturer's will prefer you to go through retailer from which you purchased, if they are warranty authorized. Ask to be sure.) If you purchase extended warranty or protection plan, then based on who you bought from & their policy. Outside the manufacturer's warranty, then you must go through the extended provider. If you got protection plan, may want to prefer since convers more problems.

- Answer Yes, you can plug 3.0 devices into computer 2.0 ports and vice versa. Your speed will be limited to the 2.0 device/port.

- Answer I thought the resolution was pretty good for watching TV, movies, or viewing pictures. However, I am just an average novice user and I am no graphics expert, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. If you are just using this for basic viewing, it should be fine.

- Answer The laptop charger input rate is between 100 - 240V. 1.3A, 50 - 60 HZ. With the rate quoted , It should be able to work in Europe and in other regions where the voltage is around 220 - 240V.

- Answer When I bought this laptop I didn't know it had a touchscreen, but I like that it does. Videos that I have watched are much clearer than on my old 6 year laptop. DVDs also have a noticeable difference as well.

- Answer Wi-Fi - Dell Wireless 1707 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz). So single band 2.4GHz only. (No 5GHz band; also why no Wi-Fi a support.) (Got info in store on display unit, in Windows. In Task Manager & Device Manager.) Bluetooth - Dell Wireless 1707 Bluetooth 4.0 LE. HARD drive - Toshiba MQ01ABD100. 1TB. DVD writer drive - HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GU90N.

- Answer Sometimes, the battery will lose charge when it is sitting on a shelf and is being transported to you. I wouldn't be too worried. I would leave it plugged in overnight to ensure it is fully charged prior to unplugging it again. If the battery is not being recognized, I would recommend updating Windows and all of your drivers. If it still does not recognize, the computer may have a hardware issue, and you should probably exchange it within 15 days of receiving it.
