Would this be a good laptop for a college student? null

My eldest is in college and loves this laptop. She doesn't use the touch screen, though. She prefers a mouse. I know she saves everything to a jump drive and has backed the computer up on DVD-R 's. It has a lot of memory and and she downloaded all the Apps she needed for school. It didn't come with Norton so we purchased it for her. She hasn't had any complaints about it.
