The maximum supported RAM for this system is 8 GB, so you could purchase a 2GB DDR4 SDRAM (2133 MHz) to max it out. Hope that helps. BTW, there's no such thing as a 6 GB memory RAM. They come in multiples of 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, etc). 2 GB DDR4 SDRAM for a Laptop can be picked up fairly cheap on Amazon (Best Buy doesn't carry them any longer).
