• A:Answer Yes it is normal for this laptop to be warm on the bottom after several minutes on your lap. I suggest an small lap desk if it becomes too uncomfortable

• A:Answer The battery is internal. I don't think it can be replaced. Unless perhaps you open up the laptop and potentially access the battery inside, but, I'm not sure if that's even possible to do.
