“This is a brand new laptop and the touch pad rarely works. Is there an easy fix or does this need to be returned/exchanged? Please advise on a solution.”

I am returning. I tried everything- even turning it off and use an external mouse but then it had to cursors- one that would spaz out all over the screen.
