No, it is no normal to only have 85% battery power left if you shut the computer down. Just closing the lid does not necessarily shut down the computer. The computer may just go sleep mode with a slight power consumption when it is not actually shut down. For reference, my fully charged laptop show 99% power remaining after more than 2 days when it is shut down, without being used. So from now on, shut down the laptop when it is not in use, every time. Good luck.
