I hope your daughter is able to enjoy her bamboo pencil. Hopefully you read the package on the pencil, that will tell you what operating systems it is compatible with. Most new laptops come pre-loaded with Windows 10 - if it is an Apple product it will come with IOS. I have found many issues with getting things to work on Windows 10. If you are having trouble with the pen, try going to the website of the manufacturer of the pen. Look on that website for Windows 10 drivers or any updates. You can also do Internet searches for any issues you are having. I hope this helps.
