Q: QuestionI just purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 3000. I purchased a Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus as well, but it appears to not be compatible. What stylus pen would be compatible with this touchscreen laptop?

• A:Answer The computer has an Intel 8th generation i5-8265U 4-core processor, with a base speed of 1.6 GHz, that can "Turbo-Boost" up to 3.9 GHz. Like other 8th generation Intel i5 processors, the i5-8265U runs at different clock speeds depending on load. Watching mine in use using Task Manager, the processor has been running anywhere from 1.1 GHz to 3.4 GHz, depending on the load placed on the processor. At rest (that is, sitting around running background processes but but not doing anything), it seems to settle in around 1 GHz.

• A:Answer What games are you trying to run? Be aware that this model does not have a DVD / CD player. However a separate player can be purchase and used through one of the ports. As this model had Windows 10 loaded it is best to check with the game manufacturer or the game box to see if the game is compatible.

• A:Answer During the first, initial set up, at the very beginning , Windows 10 asks if the user is intending to use a second language keyboard, at which time, you can say yes, and there will be a drop-down box to choose which second language and locality you wish to use, as an alternative to English.

• A:Answer I was concerned about display, from reviews, but was able to adjust to my full expectations. Displays in store and on my laptop were poor when first turned on, guess set factory energy saving. I don't worry about battery life so set display bright and vivid.

Q: QuestionI tried to purchase for $349 during black Friday and showed it was out of stock. But it is available for $599 today. What gives with that? I want one if BB honors their advertising.

• A:Answer Actually it was on pre- black Friday but also on special Friday and Saturday. It displayed on the site for$349.99 but the button to add to cart said Out of Stock. Could not add for shopping or pickup. Today i see it is still in stock but at $599.99. Even if the warehouse was out for that one day they knew they had stock arriving. Very poor customer experience to advertise a special price and not have it until the next day at much higher price.

The processor is "variable speed" (that is, it runs at different clock speeds depending on load). Watching mine in normal use, the processor has been running anywhere from 1.1 GHz to 3.4 GHz, depending on what is being processed. At rest, it seems to settle in around 1-1.25 GHz.
