Most low-mid priced PCs have lots of 'bloatware' (trial software) pre-installed and running in the background, taxing the CPU) Uninstall the apps you will not use. PC World magazine had a free utility to help with this task ... Decrapifier as I recall. It's probably still available and/or other versions are around that do the same thing. They can also be set not to run in selective start-up.

Please try again later.if you swap the hard drive to a solid state drive, it should be significantly faster, but again it will probably void the warranty and cost you an arm and a leg. and you would need to install windows and other drivers again. but from my opinion i would leave it the way it is.
