- Answer Just look at the detailed description of the product! 7th gen i5-7200U, DDR4 RAM (2133 MHz [high bandwidth]), 2 slots, 16GB max, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, ethernet and wifi. Not sure about the ease of swapping out 5400 RPM HDD with SSD.

- Answer Yes, you should be able to swap the hard drive for any 2.5in SSD and be fine. You will have to reinstall Windows though so make sure you backup anything you deem important!

- Answer Most low-mid priced PCs have lots of 'bloatware' (trial software) pre-installed and running in the background, taxing the CPU) Uninstall the apps you will not use. PC World magazine had a free utility to help with this task ... Decrapifier as I recall. It's probably still available and/or other versions are around that do the same thing. They can also be set not to run in selective start-up.

- Answer Does your old laptop have OneDrive? If so, move your files to OneDrive, sync them to your new laptop, and move them to your preferred folder.

- Answer You can go to many sites to compare processor speeds. One such site is: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com. I'm sure if you google a bit you can figure out what the 'U' means. The processor in this laptop is a 7th generation i5 Intel processor. The number has nothing to do with the disk speed. This computer has the older standard laptop drive speed of 5400 RPM (see the specs).
