I am a music teacher who uses Finale that my district provides. I used it with a dell and it worked fine. My district switched us to macbooks last year. Finale has worked fine with the macbook. However, I am taking a finale course from one of the writers of the Finale User manuals. I have noticed that there are some things in the book that say, mac users do this, and PCs do this, so there are a few differences. Since you are a composer, it may really bother you.
