How long is the battery life? null

Maybe this will help: i use my 17" extensively and only recently upgraded to this unit. (My 2013 17" recently fell off my car hood & got run over by cars!) Most of the time i' kept it plugged in, but NEVER replaced the battery! It was depleted down to where it would last about 20 mins. before needing a recharge. Also depends a lot on how much you use it and your settings such as brightness, streaming, etc. When brand new you can log the time it takes to draw down for future reference. The battery indicator icon at the bottom R Task bar (Microsoft calls it the Windows Task bar. The icons are smaller than the icons to the left on the bottom Task bar) can be helpful. Hovering over it will show the charge % and clicking on it will give you the settings options. KimKomando.com has lots of awesome tips i use also.
