I don't have the laptop, but as a computer technician I can tell you it really doesn't make any noticeable difference to performance. Even if it's an NVMe capable drive (M.2 can be NVMe or SATA3), the speed both read small files isn't really that different. Small files are really what affect performance. You'll only see a boost if you're copying huge files.
