• Mine was running very hot, so hot the keyboard singed my fingertips, even while using a chiller pad with fans. Just today I found out there's a "feature" in the BIOS called Intel Turbo Boost Max which is enabled by default, and basically overclocks the CPU which causes it to run hot, run the fan all the time, and the fan is NOT enough to cool it down. So I went into the BIOS and disabled this "feature," and now the computer is much cooler and the fan is not running. That might be something to look at.
