• Model 7359 and below - 1 slot Model 7368 and above - 2 slots Therefore, model 7378 - 2 slots

• Yes that's what I have. I have not physically checked the slots but the basic hardware configuration has confirmed 12gb memory. Bestbuy sometimes offer "bestbuy" exclusives. If this is the case then you won't find these at Dell's website.

• I have this laptop. I can confirm than it has 12GB RAM installed according to windows system status. I don't want to disassemble the RAM in order to check how the 12GB are completed. I suppose that there are two separate cards, 8 and 4 GB each.
