QuestionIs this the actual 7378? aluminum and all? I see that dell advertise it only with 8 or 16gb ram, it should have only 1 slot. How does this model have 12?

Questionis it possible to increase the Ram to 16GB ?

- Answer Yes it is possible. Out of the box, this laptop comes with one 8 GB ram stick and another 4 GB ram stick for a total of 12. To increase it to 16 GB, you need to remove the 4 GB stick and replace it with an 8 GB one.

QuestionHow's this Laptop's battery life (heavy use) and the display brightness? It looks very dark in videos. Would you recommend it to an Engineering student? Plenty of software usage (design and simulation). I'm planing on buying this one or the HP spectre.

- Answer This model does not have a removable battery. The computer would need to be taken apart in an ESD environment by a professional tech in order to have the battery replaced. You may not have an option to use a different cell battery, and may only be able to replace it with the same type it comes with.

- Answer Top/back of monitor is I believe brushed aluminum, as well as the keyboard cover. The bottom cover is a very study plastic material

QuestionHaving some difficulty finding a lock. Apparently Dell has a diff size lock slot. Also, it does not use the standard "T" lock. Believe it is called a "noble" lock, but laptop's lock slot smaller. Any input on this? No local stores carry this type.
