This model is the mid-2016 design refresh with the new 7th gen (Kaby Lake) processor in it. There still seems to be some debate about whether the Dell Active Stylus is compatible or not, and I've never seen definitive proof. This laptop is not listed as a compatible option on the dell support website, but it might not have been updated yet. Personally, I'm still debating whether to fork out $50 on the active stylus just to see whether it is or isn't compatible. Sorry I can't be of more help!
