How much is the amperage of this laptop? null

my power supply for this laptop says the following output 45w 19.5v 2.31A I've got an EE background, that's low power and amps! My power supply is very small and light weight, I love it.

Don't know exactly, but the AC power supply is rated at 19.5VDC, 2.31Amp, 45Watts

The power brick is marked "45 Watts" so it will pull in the neighborhood of a half amp ( less than 500ma including losses ). Would power an appliance bulb without breaking too much of a sweat.
