I installed a 1TB SSD in my 15-7568. I could have had GeekSquad (GS) do it for free, but it takes like a week (crazy) for them and they don't clone your current HDD. When you buy a SSD it typically comes with cloning software. Follow the instructions, clone your HDD. Unscrew and remove the panel on the back of the computer, 3 screws for the HDD frame, unplug it, swap in new SSD into the frame, plug it back in, screw the frame back down. Put the back cover on. Boot the computer. Whole process, including cloning took me about 75 minutes. and my computer runs about 300% faster. (and I didn't have to deal with not having my comp or losing info by using GS).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't done it yet but it appears to be fairly simple... Several how to videos specific to this model on YouTube.
