A:Answer Yes, something similar happened to me after I had the laptop for about 2 weeks, which meant it was no longer eligible to return to Best Buy. I was really happy with it up until that point. I wasn't using the pen at the time but something happened and the computer froze. I tried to turn it off and it wouldn't turn off, but I could hear the fan running, but the screen wasn't displaying anything - it was black. I tried several times to press the restart button. The only way it was able to shut down was to unplug it and let the battery run down. I was then able to restart the computer. I called Dell help desk, and it was irritating talking to this person. She was complaining that things were busy with calls, etc., etc.,. She walked me through a diagnostic for the computer, and it said everything passed. However, I will keep an eye on it since that was the first incident that happened about a week ago.
It appears to be working fine now, but not sure what caused it. If anyone else runs into this issue, let's be sure to document it here in case there is a major flaw with the laptop that Dell needs to make right.
