• This model comes with a one year Manufacturer's Warranty through Dell. This warranty will cover things such as hardware failure due to manufacturing defects. It will not cover things such as software issues or damage due to accidental handling. Best Buy also offers Geek Squad protection, which would begin at the time of purchase, and would provide you with service options outside of the Manufacturer's Warranty, and would include accidental damage. They also offer a Geek Squad 24/7 Support plan for technical support, which would include software issues.

• I suppose the Dell warranty is 1 Year, but don't know for sure , I bought the Best Buy extended warranty
