Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The answer to the questions is yes, there are a total of 16 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2400 MHz used on this laptop but it is a single chip utilizing 1 DIMM. There are 2 DIMM's for this laptop. I verified this myself when I took the thing apart to install my SSD. So, you do have an extra DIMM slot for you to expand your system memory.
