A:Answer Yes, you can. I did it. You can make your HD the D drive (second drive). You'll want to make that SSD your boot disk with Windows and your programs on it if you want the best performance (Windows 10 will boot in under five seconds!). You can save other files (pics, documents, etc.,) on your second HD drive. I didn't do it, as I did a fresh install. However, I believe you can migrate your data with included software. The SSD I purchased that is compatible with this Dell model is a Crucial 1TB MX300 SATA M.2 Internal SSD. I bought it at BestBuy, but I don't see it here. Other vendors stock it. Just Google it. There may be other manufacturers M.2's that are compatible now as well.
