QuestionCan we install an extra SSD to this? if yes what option is there PCI Express or M.2 or SATA

- Answer According to a Dell Technical Support Specialist, you can add an SSD to this laptop. It contains an M.2 connection. "sorry for the delay, yes, that comes with an m.2 slot." I also downloaded the instruction manual, and it contains instructions on how to "replace" the M.2 SSD. (in this instance it would be how to install since it does not come with an M.2 SSD installed.)

QuestionDoes this laptop come with Windows Ink? What I really need to know is if you can use a stylus to draw on the screen.

- Answer Yes. It is Windows Ink compliant and ready. It is already installed in the system. You just need to purchase the Bamboo Stylus for $70 and you're golden. I use mine with Adobe Illustrator, to design websites, etc.

- Answer You can switch the hd for a ssd but this laptop has an unused m.2 slot for a secondary drive. I installed a m.2 240gb Samsung 850 evo and migrated the OS and kept the 1tb had drive for storage.

- Answer Yes, you can. I did it. You can make your HD the D drive (second drive). You'll want to make that SSD your boot disk with Windows and your programs on it if you want the best performance (Windows 10 will boot in under five seconds!). You can save other files (pics, documents, etc.,) on your second HD drive. I didn't do it, as I did a fresh install. However, I believe you can migrate your data with included software. The SSD I purchased that is compatible with this Dell model is a Crucial 1TB MX300 SATA M.2 Internal SSD. I bought it at BestBuy, but I don't see it here. Other vendors stock it. Just Google it. There may be other manufacturers M.2's that are compatible now as well. Good luck!

QuestionWhat is the difference between a 1 TB hard drive and a 512 Solid state drive. Which is better?

- Answer Solid state drive (SSD). For sure. It makes the computer much faster. Basically, the SSD is flash memory instead of a platter that spins in a hard drive. If you want more detail, google it and you will find all kinds of answers.

- Answer Can be upgraded with an SSD M2 because comes whit a free port for tahat purpose so you can keep the 1tb hdd for storage

- Answer I replaced mine with a San Disk 960GB SSD and so far it works great. You have to go into bios to disable Secure Boot before you can swap the drive.

- Answer I have had mine for about 3 weeks, so I don't know the long-term affects, but I leave mine on charge when not in use. Then again, I usually end up draining it to about 7% every other day. It should not harm the laptop itself, but keep it on a cooling pad while charging. I had Geek Squad put in a 960gb SSD drive upon purchase and it is super fast with it in. It also cuts down on the heat given off by a regular disk drive.

- Answer I bought this computer a month ago. I have done quite a bit of research but so far I have not been able to find a stylus pen that would work with this, nor a program allowing to use my fingers..

- Answer I would not recommend going from 1 TB HDD to 2 TB HDD. I would recommend going to a SSD. The read / write speed is about 20x as fast as your standard HDD like the one on your 1 TB HDD. Personally, I would go with like a 500 GB SSD (Solid State Drive) and then get an external hard drive or a NAS storage device. I have a NAS storage device and I love it. I have 2 Hard Drive's inside it and it connects directly to my router using an Ethernet cable and I can access that data from any device in the world...not just on one device.

- Answer Wasn't even good for text editing due to heat, slowness, and loudness. Felt like a motor is in my ears and a sizzling PIZZA in my arms.. Rebooting it lasted 9 minutes (WITHOUT update in progress. Launching IE browser lasted 3 minutes. SICK . Therefore Graphics would run into worse problems since graphics work is CPU bound.
