I am 77 and love it! Nothing extra to buy, Just plug it in and after setting things up, it was ready to go. I had a Dell previously and it only lasted about 18 months, so I went back to the HP all in one touchscreen. I don't use the touch screen much, but it is nice to have. And we aren't simple minded, well, maybe a little!!lol

It is a nice size and it is an all in one and basically just plugs into your outlet which makes it easy to connect. The wireless mouse is very simple. Just put a battery in the mouse and switch it to on and take the little separate piece and put it in the usb port (the store can actually do this for you) but I you can use a wired mouse. I don't know what games you play but it may be pricier than you need. I'm a novice but see if you can get a non commission sales person to do a comparison for you.
